ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Fortune 500 firm, leader at its domain, is looking for a Java Developer.

Our client has a Tech Hub in Athens with more than 60 employees and the Hub provides IT Services across all corporate functions of the organization in Europe & the USA.

📌 Location: Athens, North sector (walking distance to metro station)

📍 Working Model: Hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 remote)

🖋️You will be reporting to the Business Applications IT Director

What you will do:

You will be responsible for developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Java EE, JSP, and Prime Faces. Your expertise will help drive the digital transformation in the manufacturing sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Java EE.
• Creating and maintain user interfaces using JSP and PrimeFace
• Integrating with various manufacturing systems to streamline processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participating in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
• 4 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on Java EE.
• Proficient in JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery)
• Strong understanding of e-manufacturing processes and systems
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skill
• Very good knowledge of Greek & English language. (Written & verbal)
