Job Description - Account Development Executive

marcus evans, founded in 1983, is a global business intelligence and event marketing company, with 49 offices in 20 countries. Working across all industry sectors, our Summits division is the global market leader in its field with more than 120 summits across the world. Our events take place at the most prestigious venues in Australia, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, France, England, and the US.

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate professional to join our Summits division as an Account Development Executive. The right candidate for this role must have a real talent in both research and copywriting and determined to be a key part of a successful and growing team. In this role, you will provide direct support to our top-performing Sales Managers across EMEA & NA by identifying targeted opportunities and managing an active lead pipeline.

This is an in-person role located in our Nicosia office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead identification.
  • Industry research and analysis.
  • Writing targeted outreach campaigns that will deliver high quality inbound inquiries.
  • Meeting weekly and monthly goals and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain the data quality of our contacts database.
  • Effective collaboration with leading Sales Professionals across EMEA and North America.

Qualifications

  • Recognised degree, preferably in an area of Business Development, Marketing or a related field.
  • EU passport-holder.
  • 2 years’ experience in email marketing, research, sales and lead generation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English is a must!
  • Excited to be part of a performance-driven culture.
  • Computer Literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
