Job Description - Investment Due Diligence Associate Analyst

Role in Brief

Albourne Partner (Cyprus) Ltd is looking to expand the Investment Research Support team. The aim of the role is to work with Senior Investment Research Analysts with preparation of research reports and produce reports on HF and PM funds to expand Albourne’s coverage. We are looking for a committed, dedicated and self-motivated individual to fill the role.

Insights to the Role

  • Support Albourne’s Senior Investment Research Analysts with the preparation of research reports.
  • Review fund documents and write initial reports on Hedge Funds and Private Market funds (with emphasis on ESG, D&I and Crypto funds) to expand Albourne's coverage.
  • Review hedge fund newsletters and prepare newsletter summary reports.
  • Create watchlists based on fund participation at industry events to drive coverage. 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Database: To help ensure internal database is maintained with up to date information, including relevant emails and records of meetings and calls
  • Timeliness: Meet deadlines imposed by management and clients.
  • Other projects: Any other adhoc projects as requested by Head of Hedge Fund IDD or Daily line manager.
  • Compliance: Report potential conflicts to compliance and work with compliance to ensure that conflict disclosures appear on written research reports.
  • Represent Albourne well: Act as an ambassador for Albourne at industry events.

Who You Are

  • University graduate or equivalent.
  • Fluent English and Computer literacy skills are a prerequisite
  • Some relevant prior work experience: knowledge or experience of alternative assets would be considered an advantage
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter, proficient time management and multi-tasking
  • Professional demeanour and strong interpersonal skills
  • Systems literacy (MS Office, Excel)
  • Travel (occasional)
  • Abide by the HF IDD Group policies and procedures as well as the Albourne Group’s policies and procedures including but not limited to IFFM, compliance, and HFDB filing.
  • Comply with terms of Albourne Compliance Manuals
  • Complete relevant Albourne Certificates
  • Attend Company Offsites
