We are looking to recruit a passionate and self-motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering Department based in Nicosia, on a full-time basis.
The Job
- Participate in the development of our platforms using .NET (C#) Core, ReactJS and Typescript, ensuring responsive and high-quality software solutions.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including -but not limited to- designing new API routes, implementing features, developing client and/or web applications and conducting unit tests.
- Maintain and modify existing software and web platforms.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for efficient and automated deployments.
- Adhere to GIT version control best practises, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in software development and suggest innovations that can enhance our development practises.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to achieve shared goals.
The Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of Azure DevOps Server.
- Experience with GIT version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge in RDBMS (preferably Oracle/MS-SQL).
- Proficiency in building APIs using RESTful architecture with .NET (C#) WEB API.
- Experience with ORM Entity Framework core.
- Front-end development skills with React JS, Redux, Material-UI and Typescript will be considered as a plus.
- Solid understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Self-motivated, creative, and well-rounded professional.
