Job Description - Marketing Manager, Planning & Operations

Our Marketing team is growing and we are actively seeking a new team member to join our dynamic group. As the Marketing Manager, Planning & Operations you will be a key contributor to building out a new vertical within EFG’s global marketing department, called Marketing Strategy, Planning & Operations. This person will have the ability to serve as a project manager across key projects while also contributing to a new function within the organization, marketing operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving project success, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

What you'll do:

Marketing Operations (70%)

  • Support Vice President of Marketing Strategy, Planning, and Operations on Ways of Working and Marketing Governance Creation 
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to optimizing marketing processes and workflows. Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency 
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of marketing performance to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations for optimization 
  • Create and maintain global marketing calendar 
  • Create and maintain all monthly reporting for budgets
  • Centralize and maintain global marketing status and templates
  • Partner with marketing leadership team for the annual planning process, ensuring planning is done with key learnings and insights provided by marketing operations unit
  • Analyze global marketing budgets, identifying opportunities for increased synergies and efficient spending across the global marketing organization 
  • Enhance systems and processes to streamline operations, meeting efficiency and impact
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing operations and automation

Project Management (30%)

  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, processes, and standards to ensure consistency and alignment across projects 
  • Establish and maintain project management tools and systems to support project planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals 
  • Sets project timelines and holds teams accountable for delivery 
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery 
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on project status, key metrics, and performance against targets
  • Conduct project reviews and post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in project management and PMO governance

Requirements

What you need:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in similar industries.
  • An analytical mind that can look at budgets and draw conclusions, collect insights and assign action items
  • The ability to identify trends, track campaign performance, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization 
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and can effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines 
  • Collaborative and able to work with various teams within marketing and externally across commercial and product departments. They understand that ensuring alignment is imperative to driving results 
  • Can articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex projects from initiation to closure 
  • Think outside the box question processes and recommend solutions
