About the Role
We are seeking an Accountant to join our Accounting Team.
Job Description
- Post accounting entries in SAP in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and organize relevant supporting documentation for all entries
- Monitor Mydata requirements and perform necessary actions through accounting software and AADE
- Prepare annual financial statements compliant with Greek statutory requirements and IFRS
- Assist in the implementation of financial systems and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Post purchases, check depreciation, and reconcile the Fixed Assets Register with the General Ledger (GL)
- Schedule payments and reconcile cash in hand and cash at banks with the GL
- Perform regular reconciliations with customers and suppliers
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of various files to the GL
- Support the preparation and timely submission of all tax declarations, including VAT, withheld taxes, list of contracts, VIES, corporate income tax return, and transfer pricing lists
- Facilitate communications with Tax Authorities and the General Commercial Register (GEMH)
- Manage ad hoc projects as required
- Actively participate in all accounting activities, providing support and expertise where needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar
- Postgraduate diploma will be considered as a plus
- Minimum of 3 years experience on a similar role
- A’ class Accountant License
- Knowlegde of IFRS
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High ethical standards, fitting with the Values of Antenna Group
