Accountant

CC&A is currently accepting applications for an Accountant in Paphos.

Due to the continuous expansion of our firm we seek to recruit dynamic individuals to work in the Accountant position. The successful candidates will receive an attractive remuneration package above market rates plus bonus based on qualifications and experience.

A successful candidate must be a good analyst with a critical approach and good knowledge of accounting processes. Good expertise in book-keeping, social insurance, VAT and Tax knowledge are required as well as high reliability and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Involvement in the accounting of Cyprus and international companies;
• Preparation of documents and registration of clients to authorities;
• Preparation of financial statements and liaising with clients;
• Invoicing and;
• Tax and VAT form preparation and compliance.

Compulsory requirements:

• A relevant university qualification in Accounting and Finance;
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (verbal and written);
• Excellent knowledge of Esoft software and MS office;
• Computer and internet skills;
• Strong initiative and organizational abilities;
• Team player;
• Trustworthy and responsible person;
• Pleasant personality, able to work in a friendly environment and;
• Have at least 2 years of working experience in the area of bookkeeping and VAT.

The below requirements will be considered as an advantage:

• Knowledge of a third language;
• Experience of other accounting softwares;
