Accountant Portfolio

We are looking for an in-house Accountant to manage all the bookkeeping, VAT and Tax procedures of our in-house accounting portfolio, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
• Preparation and submission of VAT reports quarterly.
• Preparation and submission of VIES monthly.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns as well as submission of the companies’ provisional tax reports.
• Preparation of IR1, IR4 and IR7 in compliance with the Cyprus tax Laws.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.

Requirements and skills

• At least 1 year work experience as an Accountant and Tax Consultant.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree from a reputable University.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like BTMS, Intelligence, E-soft etc.
• Additional certification like ACA/ACCA candidate is a plus.
