Accounting Assistant

Our company is the Greek branch of Delsk Group based in Athens. Delsk Group was founded in 2008 and over the years has established its presence by partnering with over 750 enterprises across the globe.

We expertise in the design, construction and development of plots, alteration and redevelopments of buildings in Athens city center and suburbs. We create building structures focusing in luxury design and top quality materials. Construction has been one of the main goals of our company: we are already working on 50 construction and renovation projects and we are planning to take over more than 30 projects in the following three years.

The Role:

We are seeking for a Construction Accounting Assistant to join our team in Athens to support the engineer’s construction department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construction documents entry (delivery notes, invoices, service vouchers) in the payment program
• Categorization of construction documents by task and project (cost centers)
• Checking completeness of project files & invoices and forwarding to the accounting department
• Accounting check of construction invoices (VAT, deductions, final payment amount etc.)
• Checking construction documents for correct company and project indication

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economic or Accounting
• 3 years of related professional experience, preferable in construction or Real Estate company
• Excellent communication skills in Greek & English, both written and spoken
• Team oriented personality
• A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion
• High standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
