Position Overview:
You will be preparing, assisting, handling, and updating the accounting records as necessary. Moreover, you will be part of our exceptional Accounting team, with the greater scope to make a vital impact on our company’s success and further development!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial documents and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Supervise, mentor, and train the accounting staff. As well as conducting performance evaluations and supporting staff development.
- Assign and review the work of the accounting team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Coordinate and communicate with external audits and regulatory bodies.
- Evaluate and improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
- Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
- Evaluate and timely monitoring of the customers’ reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- ACA/ ACCA holder will be considered advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in related accounting software as well as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
