Accounting Manager

Our top-notch team of professionals is rapidly growing, and we are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join us and drive our company to new heights.

Position Overview:

You will be preparing, assisting, handling, and updating the accounting records as necessary. Moreover, you will be part of our exceptional Accounting team, with the greater scope to make a vital impact on our company’s success and further development!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial documents and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Supervise, mentor, and train the accounting staff. As well as conducting performance evaluations and supporting staff development.
• Assign and review the work of the accounting team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Coordinate and communicate with external audits and regulatory bodies.
• Evaluate and improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
• Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
• Evaluate and timely monitoring of the customers’ reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• ACA/ ACCA holder will be considered advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in related accounting software as well as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
