Associate Financial Products Analyst (Nicosia)

The position:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Associate Financial Products Analyst to join our growing team. The purpose of the role is to analyse the offering of new financial products and maintain the competitiveness of our products at the highest level. The role will also provide opportunities to develop technical and analytical skills. We need a great team player with high attention to detail who is results-oriented.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Perform competitive analysis on financial products and highlight potential improvements
• Produce high quality reports at regular time internals for new financial products, as well as to analyse the business
• Keep up to date with market developments and trends in the industry
• Ensure that clients have access to up-to-date market and pricing information
• Set up the trading systems, monitor proper functioning and provide input for refinements
• Monitor spreads and other costs related to the tradable instruments, ensuring fair & competitive products
• Have a grasp of certain metrics (slippage, rejections, latency, execution speed), potentially on a daily basis, and providing input/solutions as needed
• Cooperate closely and effectively with other departments
• Suggest solutions & products to enhance our offerings and take ownership to deliver on them
• Understand the basic dealing and middle office tasks and be able to step in and deliver on them

Main requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering
• Fluency in English
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Python or any other coding language considered to be an advantage
• CFA designation or studying towards considered to be an advantage
• CySEC certification will be considered a plus
