PURPOSE OF DUTY:

To ensure the cleanliness of the bar area and tools at all times, prepare morning mise-en-place and provide support to the bar team during service hours if required.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communication

• To attend bi-daily team briefing actively.
• To efficiently communicate and report to relevant supervisors and co-workers in a transparent way.

Guest Relations

• To recognize guests preferences and anticipate them.
• To handle all guests complaints in a friendly and effective way, if escalated, to report to upper management.

Operations

• To always act and perform accordingly to LPM standards.
• To have a good knowledge of the menu, wine list, digestive and bar list of LPM
• To provide support and help to the bartender team wherever needed
• To participate in the operations during service hours, making mocktails, coffee and ensuring a proper bar set-up.
• To always ensure an excellent guest experience.
• To successfully follow daily duties and role responsibilities.
• To respond quickly and positively to changes within your job role, showing flexibility

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential

• High School Diploma or College Degree

Desirable

• Hospitality education background
• Basic spirit and classic cocktail knowledge

EXPERIENCE:

Essential

• Minimum 1 year in F&B (sommelier, bar, food industry)

Desirable

• Additional experience in hotels
• Additional experience as barista
• Additional experience in high end bar and restaurant

SKILLS:

Essential

• Interpersonal skills
• English – excellent oral and written
• Attention to details, speed and accuracy
• Working attitude

Desirable

• Additional foreign language skills
