Position requirements:
- Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner.
- Preparing food, manning the breakfast buffet, and coordinating kitchen staff.
- Properly rotate food products to keep spoilage and waste to a minimum
- Adhere to sanitation practices.
- Reports directly to the Chef de Cuisine
Requirements
Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a Breakfast Cook in a similar size operation
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read recipes and follow their instructions
- Ability to create appropriate buffet displays up to 2-3 feet in height and the ability to set up, maintain and breakdown same
Education:
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
- Must possess basic computer skills
