Building Maintenance Technician

The Role:

The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs to ensure the proper operation and upkeep of our buildings and facilities in Limassol and Nicosia offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance work, be highly organised, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and other repairs.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Monitor and maintain building systems, such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
• Plan and supervise the completion of all repair and installation activities.
• Manage and coordinate office renovation and modification projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs and projects.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health & safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs and projects.
• Assist with any other building maintenance tasks as directed by the Head of Building Maintenance.

Main requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Greek and English.
