The client:

A leading generator and supplier of electricity in Greece and in other European countries. 

The role: 

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and enhance operational efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities: 

• Collecting data and aiding in their efficient utilization to enhance company efficiency and maximizing profits. 
• Processing large volumes of data to extract effective insights into databases. 
• Generating reports. 
• Submitting reports regarding common sources of technical issues or inquiries and making recommendations to the production team. 
• Proactively identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement 
• Designing and implementing business processes. 
• Consolidating, supporting, and managing relevant technological applications and platforms. 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field 
• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Business intelligence or a similar role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. 
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Power BI 
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. 
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques is a plus. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. 
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language.
