C++ Software Engineer - Financial Technology Solutions and Payments

Euronet seeks to employ a dynamic and passionate C++ Software Engineer to embark on an exciting journey with us!

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining robust and efficient software solutions for our cutting-edge electronic payments REN platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build and develop the application.
• Maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
• Implement optimized and quality modules.
• Identify bottlenecks & bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help to maintain the code quality, organization, and atomization.
• Write functional test cases to the regression framework.

Requirements

General Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or in a relevant major.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and hands on in STL, BOOST understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in programming under Windows/UNIX/Linux.
• Experience with IPC including socket programming.
• Working experience in MYSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL would be a plus.
• Working knowledge of development tools such as debuggers, profilers, and tracing utilities.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN & Git.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven framework like Karma, Mocha, Jest, would be an added advantage.
• Fluency in Greek & English, both verbal and written.
• Eligible to work in the EU on full-time permanent basis without the need of employer sponsorship.
