Chef

We are looking for a Chef for our company based at Larnaca Airport.

Duties

• Responsible for the preparation of catering orders
• Responsible for the storage and freshness of all food products
• Ensuring all receipts are prepared within the stock computer volume metrics
• Raising with the Directors when special orders are requested to ensure they are met
• Stocktaking all products and packaging
• Responsible for keeping up with the prerequisite calibration program, microbiological analysis program, health certificates, cleaning, maintenance of kitchen machinery program, training of kitchen personnel, pest control, supplier evaluation
• Responsible for special order requirements: allergies 
• Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
• Modify recipes for special needs and requests
• Supervise cook
• Communication with authorities regarding food hygiene
• Compliance with H &S regulations

Experience

• Proven Work Experience as a Chef
• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking & pastry techniques
• Leadership skills
• Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
• Excellent time management skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Sanitation regulations
• Greek/English language
