Chief Accountant

On behalf of our client, a leading company in the FMCG industry , we are looking to recruit a Chief Accountant.

• Supervises daily accounting and tax procedures
• Prepares and submits company’s tax declarations (VAT, VIES, withholding taxes, annual income tax declaration, etc.)
• Monitors accounting documentation for public authorities (e.g. Ergani, MyData)
• Controls cost accounting procedures
• Monitors warehouse procedures
• Monitors the accuracy of accounting entries
• Oversees payroll processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Master’s degree will be considered an asset
• At least 10 years of experience in well-organized accounting departments in the FMCG sector
• At least 3 years of experience in team supervision
• Knowledge of payroll procedures
• Holder of A' class signatory rights
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of Soft1 ERP will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of the Warehouse - General Accounting Cycle and Cost Accounting
