Client Accountant (Hybrid) (7543)

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Client Accountant you will primarily be responsible for the ensuring proper and accurate accounting records for a portfolio of clients. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other closely related fields, who possess approximately 2+ years of relevant experience working for an Audit & Accounting Firm. Our client offers an attractive salary based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary. Flexible working hours and the option of Hybrid working conditions are also on offer. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Liaise with clients.
• Record transactions in the accounting system on daily basis.
• Maintain proper books and records for several companies.
• Prepare VAT and VIES reports on a monthly basis.
• Prepare social insurance reports.
• Debtors and Creditors reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Issue invoices to customers, reconcile incoming payments and prepare collection reports.

Key Skills/Experience:  

• University degree in Accounting, or any related subject is highly desirable.
• Holders of the LCCI Accounting Certification are encouraged to apply.
• Approximately 2+ years of work experience working for an Audit & Accounting Firm is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Trustworthy, team player, proactive and responsible.
• Experience with accounting software will be considered as an advantage.
