Consultant - Junior Planner, IDIS Services

PLANET S.A. is looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled professional to join its Infrastructure Development, and Investment Advisory Services (IDIS) Team in Athens.

As consultant of the IDIS Group you will participate in the implementation of challenging projects in Greece and abroad, providing consulting and project management services in various areas / sectors (e.g., civil infrastructure, transport, energy, environment, etc.), with focus on public works, PPP, and concession contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provision of technical advisory services (as part of projects' teamwork) in various stages of infrastructure development life cycle
• Participate in project planning, scheduling and control and prepare project progress reports
• Collaborate with PLANET experts, professionals from other firms to achieve engagement objectives
• Contribute to the business acquisition process of the company
• Organize and participate in project workshops/ meetings
• Undertake the preparation of presentations on various aspects
• Research, identify and specify solutions to problems
• Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity

Requirements

Must Have

• University degree in Engineering
• At least three (3) years of work experience in the delivery of technical advisory services for infrastructure projects
• Familiarization with project management methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite
• Ability to travel abroad
• Ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team multi-tasking personality
• Ability to prioritize and plan to effectively achieve goals and be dependable in consistently delivering reliable results within deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in Greek and English
• Fulfilled military service (if relevant)

Nice to have

• Familiarization with project planning & control methodologies
• Working knowledge of planning software (Ms Project and Primavera)
• Knowledge of Greek Public Works contracts Legislation or/and FIDIC conditions of contract
• MBA or postgraduate degree in project management
