Crew Assistant

Cassiopeia Shipmanagement Ltd. was founded in November 2013 with the aim to offer quality ship management.

As part of our continuous growth and development, we are currently looking to reinforce our crewing department with: 

Crew Assistant

Duties:

• Arranging Cash to Master (CTM)
• Updating crew activities in the computerized personnel system of the company
• Uploading documents in companies’ personnel system
• Ensuring that confirmed crew is properly certified
• Liaising with manning agents to receive missing certificates of the crew members.
• Assisting in crew change process under supervision of the crew superintendent of the vessels assigned
• Supporting Crew Superintendent as necessary
• Preparing handover information before periods out of office including contact details
• Training new staff in all relevant tasks/areas
• Reporting any out-of-routine incidents to the Management
• Monitoring the standards of sea staff and assessing returns of appraisal reports
• Handling the fleet personnel issues for the vessels assign to, in line with her/his assigned duties and responsibilities
• Any other task, which the Management may require to be carried out, and which is relevant to the duties of the position

Competencies:

• Previous Experience in a marine management related company or equivalent educational background
• Good knowledge of MS office
• Fluent business level Greek and English
• Written communication skills
• Initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational skills
