Albourne is a global financial services group of companies. Our objective is to advise our clients to be the best investors they can be. The company’s main areas of focus are fund research, portfolio and risk advice, FinTech and implementation. The Nicosia office opened in 1998 and it provides back office and IT services to the regulated companies of the Albourne group; it currently has over 300 dynamic employees and we are looking to have more to join our teams across various functions.

Role in Brief

You’ll join a fantastic team that will provide the foundational structure to learn about the business and you will interact with numerous departments across the company. The role was previously pure data entry but has since evolved. As you learn and develop within the job, you will have the opportunity to get involved in other areas.

Insights to the Role

• Processing of fund data and other information into Albourne’s proprietary database on an ongoing basis. Liaising with fund managers and third-party service providers to verify accuracy of information
• Data scraping of information into excel-based reports
• Answering internal and external queries related to fund data
• Checking and importing data into the database which feeds into another teams’ workflow

Who You Are

• You should be fluent in spoken and written English
• You could be a fresh graduate with a university degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or equivalent subject area
• You could already be a working professional, with a minimum of two years’ experience under your belt, working in a related field
• You are comfortable working in a big team; able to communicate effectively and balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• You are eager to learn and possess impeccable attention to detail
