DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing and automating our software development and deployment processes, ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, and improving the overall efficiency of our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, preferably with experience in AWS, possess expertise in CI/CD pipelines and GitLab, infrastructure monitoring, and technologies like Nginx, PHP, and Kubernetes. We envision MyTeam as the go-to place for people who want to connect with sports. We are proud to share that myTeam is already being used by more than 70,000 members across a diverse range of sports academies spanning 32 different sports! We are committed to continuously improving and expanding our platform to better serve the needs of the sports community.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support software development and delivery.
• Collaborate with software developer, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of applications into the production environment.
• Automate and streamline the software development and deployment processes using industry-standard tools and practices.
• Optimize system performance and scalability through configuration tuning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient utilization of cloud resources and cost optimization.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams regarding infrastructure and deployment-related matters.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the DevOps and cloud computing domains.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, with a focus on AWS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline setup and management, including tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of PHP, its restrictions and deployment considerations.
• Proven track record as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes, including deploying and managing containerized applications at scale.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in working with Scrum & Agile methodologies.
• Eagerness to learn and constantly improve yourself.
