Job purpose:

Join us as a Digital Copywriter and be at the heart of creating exceptional digital content and copy that appeals to diverse audiences and enhances our brands’ reach. In this role, your expertise will be crucial in producing compelling content for a variety of channels, ensuring each piece aligns with and advances our digital strategy.

Duties and responsibilities

• ·Create content and copy that caters to a variety of audiences, for multiple digital channels, including websites, digital ads, mobile apps, email campaigns, and more. 
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure digital content is optimized for user experience and aligns with overall brand messaging
• Write and edit engaging and persuasive copy that aligns with brand voice and messaging and resonates with the target audience
• Ensure all digital content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and adheres to best practices for web and mobile design and accessibility
• Analyze and report on digital content performance, make data-driven recommendations for improvement, and continually optimize content to improve user engagement and conversion rates

Minimum required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a digital copywriter with a specialization in user experience
• Strong understanding of user experience design principles and best practices for digital content development and optimization
• Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
• Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable
• Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create compelling copy that engages and persuades the target audience
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing digital content for search engines
• Familiarity with digital marketing and advertising strategies, tactics, and tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and make data-driven recommendations for content optimization

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

• A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check

• Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)

• HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)

• Financial background check

• Employment reference check.

• If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
