Job Description - Drug Devices Development Associate

Due to continuous growth and expansion,  Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals  offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract a Drug Devices Development Officer  to join our  Drug Devices Development teamat Pharmathen’s  Metamorfosi  premises.

As a  Drug Devices Development Officer  you will be involved in supportive activities that concern the design and development of our combination product kits in regard to the administration device systems.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

  • Keeps track and files supplier POs, invoices and quotations
  • Identifies and coordinates with potential suppliers of materials or testing labs/engineering companies, supports QA, QM, and Procurement teams to qualify the selected ones or qualify the materials
  • Handles the RD inventory of materials and supports the RD teams with on-time availability of materials.
  • Performs in-house engineering testing for the evaluation of materials and medical devices
  • Coordinates activities or prepares documentation required for on-time execution of studies (i.e., handling of shipments, PO issuance, Change Plan issuance, CDA preparation etc)
  • Works closely with the Procurement group for the on-time procurement/delivery of the needed quantities/materials for all testing and manufacturing activities (in house and outsourced)
  • Prepares supportive documentation for the evaluation or comparison of reference products

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BSc Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering will be considered an asset
  • 1 year of experience in a relevant position within Medical Device companies or the pharmaceutical industry

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience with Documentation for Medical devices will be considered an asset
  • Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Competent in lab instrumentation
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
