Email Campaign Associate

The Email Campaign Associate supports and leverages Global campaigns as well as Local activations, by creating personalized, relevant and highly impactful email campaigns. This role is focused on the development and execution of email campaigns, including the technology management of our marketing automation system. Email campaign strategy, audience segmentation, email template design and post-campaign review will be critical parts of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to generate credible and relevant audience and campaign insights that will inform campaign targeting decisions and on-going email campaign optimization. As an Email Campaign Associate , your tasks will include the following:

• Email campaign planning & hands-on campaign delivery of personalized campaigns based on customer insights and email communication briefs.
• Design basic hands-on HTML email template from scratch based on email content guidelines provided by Brand and Comms teams but also based on own best practice recommendations.
• Email campaign KPI setting, monitoring and optimization (e.g., delivery rate, open rate, CTR%, CR%), including consent management (opt-in/opt-out) & record cleaning (e.g., deduplication and record validation).
• Work with development and DB teams to conduct database segmentation, build audience segment lists to be attached on personalized email campaigns and set up personalized email rules and triggers.
• Optimize campaign performance using A/B testing and increase customer engagement.
• Take the lead on continuously updating our email processes and templates to ensure our emails provide customers with a best-in-class experience and are aligned with our overall strategy.
• Support senior members of the team in defining BTL marketing strategy by conducting database analysis and audience segmentation, ensuring our email campaigns are in line with the overall CRM strategy.
• Work closely with the digital marketing team to deliver best practices in email deliverability, readability and conversion-focused design.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business-related disciplines or dedicated Diploma/Certificate in Digital Marketing, or directly related hands-on work experience
• Min. 1-2 years of hands-on experience working in an agency or within client-side Marketing, in an email campaign role, database marketing role, CRM role or similar
• Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, Email Campaign platforms and Marketing Automation platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Dot Digital, Sitecore or similar.
• Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus) and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
• Experience in database analysis, database segmentation and BI reporting.
• HTML & CSS hands-on skills – beginner to intermediate (email template design)
• SQL queries – beginner to intermediate (database segmentation & audience list creation)
• Attention to detail and critical approach to the creative evaluation of email campaign layouts and performance.
• High level of professionalism and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Well organized, strong teamwork approach and team motivator, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

• A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check

• Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)

• HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)

• Financial background check

• Employment reference check.

• If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
