EU Project Manager - Researcher (Global Education)

C.I.P. Citizens In Power (CIP) is a non-profit, educational, and research organization. CIP is a leading organization in Cyprus in the fields of global education, social innovation, citizen engagement, entrepreneurship, STEM, clean energy, and sustainable growth. CIP has been involved in more than 100 EU-funded projects, including KA2, AMIF, ENI CBC Med, COSME, CERV, PRIMA, and Horizon Europe.

CIP is an expert in dissemination, exploitation, open living labs, policy impact workshops, web platforms, market analysis, policy advisory, disaster monitoring, quality assurance, transfer of innovation, and social impact assessment. To achieve these targets, CIP has established ongoing collaborations with leading universities, NGOs, research organizations, and high-profile stakeholders both in Cyprus and abroad.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports for C.I. P’s current projects
• Conduct fieldwork research (interviews, survey research, observations, focus groups)
• Prepare data collection instruments and collect and analyze data
• Facilitate the organization of workshops and dissemination activities
• Manage projects and offer administrative support for research projects
• Prepare and deliver project presentations
• Represent C.I.P. abroad to various educational events
• Prepare research proposals, grant applications, and tenders (after the provision of special guidance)

Preferred/Minimum Qualifications

• University Degree in any area, preferably from an English-speaking university
• Outstanding use of English and Greek language, both in writing and orally
• Strong communication and presentation skills, proven ability to network and represent the organization in conferences and meetings
• Strong management and organization skills
• Dynamic personality with strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willing to learn and take initiatives

The availability of extensive traveling constitutes a necessary condition for recruitment in these positions.

Additional Qualifications that will be considered as an advantage

• Have a master’s and/or a PhD in any field
• Experience in managing European Commission-funded projects
• Proven knowledge of any of the following fields: (i) Entrepreneurship and Innovation; (ii) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); (iii) Global Education and Migration
• Have an understanding of the use of technology for teaching and learning.
• Prior involvement in social and/or community initiatives
