Formulation Senior Research Scientist

Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract a Formulation Research Scientist to join our Formulation team at Pharmathen’s Metamorfosi premises.

As a Formulation Senior Research Scientist, you will provide high quality support in formulation development and will also support all stages of a new product development through its approval process.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

• Make all the relevant research for the assigned projects
• Perform IP evaluation
• Perform the formulation and process development of injectables/ complex injectables products to support all stages of product’s life cycle from lab scale development, transfer and stability to registration and post approval
• Generate and/or review high quality technical documents required for formulation and process development, tech transfers (based on EU and FDA guidance)
• Provide support to respond deficiency letters during product’s approval
• Provide support to post approval technical issues related to formulation and process
• Follow the rules as defined in the relevant EU and FDA guidelines
• Assume other activities and responsibilities as directed
• Make all the relevant research for the assigned projects

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• BSc Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or relevant field
• At least 5 years of practical knowledge gained through experience accompanied by a technical or vocational training
• At least 3 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent experience

Job-Specific Skills:

• Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
• Computer literacy
• Troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
• Competent in production lab equipment
