Tasks

• Realization of new developments and maintenance of existing applications in the field of private health insurance
• Independent implementation of requirements from the specialist department across the entire development process - from analysis and conception to implementation, IT testing and documentation
• New development of software solutions, in particular REST services, as part of the analytics programme and for the digitalization projects at HUK-COBURG-Krankenversicherung
• Administration of third-party software incl. server support
• Analysis of business processes and collaboration in the conception and IT implementation
• Advising the specialist department on the technical analysis and development of solution approaches
• Collaboration in various projects for the further development of HUK-COBURG health insurance applications

Profile

• A degree in computer science or a comparable subject or training in the field of computer science with several years of professional experience
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in the development of modular and scalable micro-service architectures (REST, SpringBoot, OpenShift, etc.)
• Experience in Java development and the associated tools (Java, Java EE, Eclipse, GIT, etc.)
• Knowledge of server administration (Linux, Windows)
• Database knowledge in the DB2 environment
• Ideally knowledge of application development in the HOST environment (z/OS, PL/1, JCL, RTC)
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills, strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and in a team
