Internal Auditor

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit plan to evaluate financial and operational processes
• Document and review existing procedures and prepare audit findings
• Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
• Perform detailed audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
• Conduct risk assessments to identify key risk areas and develop mitigation strategies
• Develop and mentor the internal audit team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
• Follow current developments regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
• Report to senior management and the board of directors on audit findings and progress

Key competencies:

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office and databases
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Commitment and willingness to work under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to various stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

• University degree in a relevant field
• Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA, CIA (or equivalent)
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the real estate industry
• Experience in Caseware Working Papers
• Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
