At QUALCO, we empower the financial world with innovative technology. As an Investments & Business Controlling Analyst you will join our Corporate Development division.

A Day in the Life of an Investments & Budget Controlling Analyst at Qualco will include:

Budget Monitoring

• Work closely with business unit leaders to understand key drivers for both top- & bottom-line.
• Support budget tracking, comparing actual performance with budgeted figures.
• Identify, analyze, and report variances, providing actionable insights to the management.
• Prepare rolling forecasts based on latest estimates to ensure updated view of each business unit, encompassing changes in business and market conditions.
• Create financial models to predict future budgetary needs and assess the impact of potential business decisions.
• Analyze Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) for each business unit, considering OPEX, CAPEX, and special projects, to evaluate and support investment & resources efficiency.

Standardized Reporting

• Collaborate with different departments and units to gather necessary data.
• Develop and maintain standardized reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency, consistency, and accuracy across all units through dashboards and KPIs.
• Create comprehensive reports for senior management and internal stakeholders.

Innovation Hub

• Be part of Qualco’s Innovation Hub initiative by:
• Identifying and analyzing opportunities for AI deployment across units.
• Contributing to our extroversion activities and the connection to the startups & innovation ecosystem

• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred;
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in the technology sector and/or VC;
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting;
• Solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting processes, and reporting standards;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (MS PowerPoint);
• Strong initiative and motivation, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Fluent in English and Greek, and;
• Knowledge of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem is highly appreciated.
