About the role

We are seeking a reliable IT Administrator to be responsible for providing technical support, managing and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT environment.
This is a strictly on-site role in our Athens, GR office

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and network systems
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and security of IT systems
• Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures
• Manage user accounts and access controls
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity
• Keep up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to enhance the IT infrastructure

Requirements

Must have:

• Greek nationality (and fulfilled military obligations for male candidates)
• Excellent use of English
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma of vocational training on a related field
• Experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
• A genuine interest in learning new things and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Linux operating system and bash programming
• Basic familiarity with:
• corporate enterprise computer systems and architecture (VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, VMs, NAS/SAN, cloud architecture)
• infrastructure (racks, RAID arrays, server systems, SDNs, etc.)
• networking and computer security protocols (such as TLS, PKI, IPv4/v6, DNS, etc.) and methodologies (SOC, NOC, SaaS, etc.)

Optional:

• Experience with cloud-based systems and virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with docker and other containerization technologies
• Familiarity with python or/and any of the following programming languages: C/C++, PHP, Javascript.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure operations
