Job Description - IT Service Administrator

Job Overview 

As an IT Service Administrator, you are pivotal in maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure and delivering seamless technical support. From troubleshooting to project participation, your role ensures smooth operations across office and remote locations, guaranteeing high-quality service delivery and system efficiency. The job requires on-site work.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support workplaces in local or remote locations.
  • Participate in new office arrangements and/or repairs as needed.
  • Create new user accounts and machines.
  • Fix incidents per OLA and escalate if needed.
  • Provide end-user support, prioritizing VIP consumers (on-site or remote).
  • Resolve backlog for incidents and SRs, track root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and service providers.
  • Install and maintain hardware/software on users’ pcs.
  • Maintain hardware and ensure proper system functioning. Replace faulty parts as required.
  • Troubleshoot system and application software in various OS (including Windows 10,11, Chrome OS and MacOS).
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades when necessary.
  • Keep hardware inventory list up to date in CMDB.
  • Provide video conferencing support (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
  • Provide network and VoIP support.
  • Prepare and support Citrix Workplaces.
  • Maintain technical documentations and SOPs.
  • Write user manuals for internal employees.
  • Maintain the company's physical access system.
  • Participate in various IT Projects.
  • Fulfil other senior management orders and assignments.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Specialist, IT Support, or similar role.
  • Excellent command of English; additional languages considered a plus.
  • Proficient in PC/laptop components, with experience in assembly.
  • Strong administrator skills in Windows OS.
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of SCS.
  • Ability to coordinate with hardware vendors and service providers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective team player with problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-centric approach to process creation.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate obstacles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure and support processes.
  • Expertise in Apple Mac and iOS systems.
  • Keen interest and understanding of current and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Citrix services and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries for databases.
  • Basic knowledge of ITSM/ITIL; Atlassian products familiarity is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle stress.
  • Basic understanding of GSuite.
