IT Support Administrator

In Evergrow SA we are looking for an IT Support Administrator, on behalf of our client, a well-established industrial and commercial company, operating in the food industry.

About the role

The IT Support Officer will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading and managing the company’s software, hardware and networks and for supplying second level support on its systems and users. The ideal candidate will stand out for his/her excellent problem-solving capabilities and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities

· Install, configure and update software and hardware

· Manage network servers and technology tools

· Set up workstations and input corresponding accounts into the server/database

· Monitor system’s performance and adaptability to changes

· Perform passive and active maintenance practices

· Perform troubleshooting when needed

· Ensure security and data integrity through access controls, backups and firewalls

· Provide second level support and guidance to the users

· Provide technical ERP support

Requirements

· BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline will be considered a plus;

· Professional Qualifications i.e. MCSA, Cisco Networking Academy (CCNA, CCNP) will be considered a plus;

· At least 3 to 4 years proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role;

· Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management;

· Virtual Technology Experience;

· Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms;

· Expertise on FortiGate firewalls, StorageCraft Backup Software and IP Telephony will be considered a plus.

· Fluency in the English language;
