📌 Location: Athens, Greece
🖋️ Reporting:  Sales Manager

Key Objective: The Junior Category Manager will assist in managing product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to drive category growth and profitability.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed market and category analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Assist in developing and managing the product assortment, ensuring it meets customer needs and market demands
• Support the implementation of effective pricing strategies to optimize sales and profitability
• Work closely with suppliers to negotiate terms, ensure product availability, and maintain strong relationships
• Provide support to the sales team with category insights, product information, and promotional materials
• Monitor and analyze category performance, generating reports and providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement
• Optimize in-store displays and increase the visibility of the category
• Conduct market visits to directly understand the needs of customers and consumers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in category management or a related role, preferably in the wine or beverage industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with category management software is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Desirable knowledge of French
