Junior Client Bookkeeper (7076)

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Client Bookkeeper to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for assisting with daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks on behalf of a portfolio of clients. An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable and you will need to possess approximately 6 months of previous experience working in a similar role. Holders of the LCCI Higher or any other relevant accounting qualification/certification are encouraged to apply and fluency in both Greek and English is a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Entering bookkeeping transactions in the accounting software on behalf of clients.
• Preparation and submission of VAT forms.
• Preparation of payroll calculations.
• Payment of relevant taxes on behalf of clients.
• Any other relevant duties as assigned by Management.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Any academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
• Any relevant accounting certifications/qualifications will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
• Approximately 6+ month of previous experience in an accounting and bookkeeping role is essential.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written.
• Previous experience with the Intelisoft software package will be considered an additional advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Team player and well organized with attention to detail.
