On behalf of our client, a leading company in their field, we are seeking a high caliber and experienced Logistics Manager who will be responsible for the management and smooth running of logistics, supply chain and warehouse operations. Logistics Manager (Ref. code: 5519/LMSP/ESS/CY)

Main duties and responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all parts and components within the inventory system.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and reduce losses effectively.
• Perform routine stock evaluations, collaborating with the purchasing department to ensure timely stock replenishment.

Logistics Coordination:

• Plan and manage the transportation logistics of parts from suppliers to the warehouse, and subsequently to service centers.
• Work closely with logistics service providers to secure timely and cost-efficient transport solutions.
• Monitor and track all shipments, ensuring adherence to scheduled delivery times.

Supplier Collaboration:

• Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with all suppliers to guarantee a consistent and reliable supply chain.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers to optimize costs and service levels.
• Address and resolve any issues concerning part quality or delivery, maintaining high standards of supply chain integrity.
• Coordinates with all Principals and reports to them when requested.
• Prepares and monitors the annual purchase budgets with Principals.

Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee warehouse operations, including the processes of receiving, storing, and dispatching parts.
• Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts and storage solutions to optimize space and workflow.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with relevant safety regulations and standards.

Team Management:

• Lead, manage, and develop the Network as well as the warehouse and logistics teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and development programs to enhance team skills and performance.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement best practices in warehouse and logistics management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven track record in a similar role within logistics and warehouse management. Experience within the automotive sector is advantageous but not essential.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and logistics software.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English languages.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership acumen with a talent for motivating, managing, and guiding a team.
