Optimal HR on behalf of its client, Elpedison , the 1st independent Energy Producer in Greece , is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Officer (Mechanical) , in Thisvi, Viotia region .

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for guidance, coordination, and implementation of activities for the maintenance of mechanical facilities. Reports to Maintenance Section Manager.

Responsibilities

Coordinates, supervises, and performs day-to-day implementation of mechanical maintenance activity, ensuring priorities are met and standards of quality, safety, environment, and technical compliance are met.

Provides guidance and direction on mechanical isolation issues and obtains maximum benefit from establishing and supporting a fully integrated maintenance management system (IMS).

Implements the maintenance policy following always the safety rules.

Participates in the Plant and Maintenance Meetings and provides assistance in all Audits.

Supervises and ensures compliance of all contractors in the plant with the company’s policies and procedures.

Acts as a technical officer for selected contracts.

Contributes to the plant budget monitoring, updates and produces KPIs

Provides input regarding spare parts inventory and assistance regarding the technical specification.

Review Power Plant’s secondary equipment maintenance requirements (i.e. hours remaining etc.) as part of Annual Maintenance Planning. Review and identify equipment’s certification needs and the next available opportunities to implement the accreditation process.

Performs all the plant’s preventive, corrective, predictive, and proactive maintenance. Performs troubleshooting and provides solutions for technical problems.

Handles the Maintenance Vendors Contract Management by reviewing the submitted documentation and monitoring the contract status.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

Requirements

University Degree in Mechanical Engineering

At least 2 years of relevant working experience in an organized industrial environment

Experience in implementation, training and maintenance of strict Quality and HSE protocols (esp. IS09001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc.)

Good command of the English language

Very good in MS Office, SAP Maintenance module is an asset

Very good budget and time management skills

Planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
