Manual Test Engineer

WINGS ICT Solutions is looking for a Manual Test Engineer that will be responsible to design and execute testing for package applications as well as applications implemented using custom technologies.

The main responsibilities will involve:

• perform functional testing using automation solutions or manually
• create and execute test cases for the business requirements using automation solution and / or manually
• create/search test data for test cases
• identify dependencies on external and internal applications and perform test in cases with multiple integrations and systems
• report test status
• log and document defects with proper traces/screenshots/description for the development team. Have close communication with development team for defect analysis
• support defect resolution and analyze the test outcome for continuous improvements

Requirements

Educational Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired experience and skills:

• Proven experience as a testing engineer for at least 2 years
• Good knowledge of Jira Testing Tool or similar
• Experience in documenting test scenarios and test cases, executing test cases to verify that a systemic/application is built as per the requirements.
• Experience in working and interacting with client facing, technology and project management teams.

Desired but not mandatory:

• Knowledge/understanding of Financial Services/Banking testing and manual testing methodology
• Knowledge and experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Rational tester, Jmeter, Cucumber etc.)

• Strong oral and written communication skills for documenting test cases in collaboration with the analyst, and for collaborating effectively with the technical teams
• Fluent in Greek and English Language
