Mechanical Engineer

(The position is based in Kolonaki, Athens)

Requirements

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, HVAC design software, and other relevant engineering tools
• Strong knowledge of computer applications, especially Microsoft Office
• Experience with Greek building permits.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills & effective teamwork skills
• Strong organizational skills, efficiency in time management and ability to work within deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Services design for a range of projects from concept stage to completion.
• Provides guidance and direction to staff engaged on mechanical maintenance activity, ensuring objectives and timescales are met.
• Responsible for the planning and analysis of the aspect of the construction that involves mechanical works.
• Inspection and assurance of the proper functioning of HVAC systems.
• Preparation of technical maintenance guidelines for HVAC installations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure that mechanical systems are being installed correctly, and to identify and address any issues or deviations from the project plans.
• Quantification of material quantities required for construction.
• Supervision and organization of tasks and adherence to the schedule.
• Maintenance of project files, agreements and invoices.
