Job Description - Mechanical Equipment & Vehicle Inspector

Job Description

The Vehicle Inspector will carry out inspections on cars & trucks for body repairs and other mechanical damages at collection points, car dealers and workshops. You will mainly work in the Attica area, but sometimes it may be required to travel to other locations in Greece. Additionally, the inspector must:  

  • Follow Safety standards and perform job efficiently; 
  • Work within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies; 
  • Maintain knowledge and adhere to the latest industry, client and SGS internal standards, policies and procedures; 
  • Ability to organize the work environment and communicate instructions, when necessary;
  • Ability to cooperate with coworkers and SGS customers;
  • Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity. 

    • Qualifications

  • Language Skills: English – Advanced level required; 
  • Computer Skills: MS Office – At least ιntermediate user; 
  • Flexibility: Must be flexible with ability to accept changes in instructions on short notice. 
  • Professional Outlooκ

    • Education And Experience  

  • Valid Driver’s License is essential; 
  • Military obligations fulfilled;
  • Degree or professional qualification in mechanical/vehicle engineering or related qualification
  • Desired 3 years of experience in automotive and/or mechanical inspections
