Parts Manager

On behalf of our client, a leading company in the automotive sector, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Parts Manager   to manage and lead the spare parts department of their automotive dealership in Nicosia. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the parts department, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service levels. This role involves managing a dedicated team and fostering strong relationships with vendors and customers.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and mentor all parts department staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Evaluate team performance regularly, offering feedback and guidance to ensure professional growth and departmental efficiency.
• Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including forecasting demand, ordering parts, and maintaining appropriate stock levels to meet business needs.
• Keep precise records of inventory, sales, and purchasing transactions to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• Develop and manage the department budget, setting and achieving financial targets to contribute to the business’s overall profitability.
• Prepare detailed monthly and annual reports on parts sales, highlighting achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure exceptional service levels are provided to both external customers and internal departments, maintaining the quality and efficiency of service.
• Collaborate with the Service and Body & Paint Managers to guarantee swift provision of parts for internal jobs, optimizing operational flow.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating to secure favorable terms and ensuring the reliable supply of quality parts.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and issues with professionalism and in accordance with dealership guidelines.
• Proactively handle customer complaints, working to resolve them swiftly and to the customer's satisfaction.
• Ensure the department's adherence to the Quality Policy and relevant operating procedures, maintaining high standards of operation and compliance.

Qualifications and Skills Required: The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong management skills and ideally within the Automotive or Heavy machinery industry.
• Proficient knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management systems is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated management experience, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
• High level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage a dynamic team.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
