Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of breakfast items, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast station and kitchen areas.- Ensure all breakfast items are prepared in a timely manner, adhering to restaurant standards and customer preferences.- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked for breakfast service.- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.- Assist in training new kitchen staff on breakfast preparation techniques and restaurant procedures.- Provide support in other areas of the kitchen as needed, including prep work, dishwashing, and lunch/dinner service. Qualifications:- Previous experience as a Chef’s Assistant, Line Cook, or similar role, with a focus on breakfast cuisine.- Proficiency in preparing a variety of breakfast dishes, including eggs, pancakes, waffles, pastries, and health-conscious options.- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.- Culinary school training is a plus but not required.
