Post Fixture Operator

Minerva Marine Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Post Fixture Operator.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare freight, demurrage and claim invoices, and collect all necessary documents.
• Issue hire and freight statements following guidelines set by the supervisor.
• Review charter party’s terms and conditions, and propose actions to supervisor targeting to increase company’s revenue.
• Check and approve commission invoices and forward to relevant departments.
• Submit properly documented claims to charterers, and check charterer’s confirmation of receipt within the time frame specified in the charter party.
• Follow up on charterers for payment of pending invoices.
• Monitor charterer’s payment and update company’s ERP accordingly.
• Communicate with Operations department and collect documents/statements timely and accurately to support claims to be forwarded to charterers.

Requirements

• 5 years of working experience in a similar position
• University degree in Maritime/Shipping discipline
• Postgraduate studies preferable
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
• Driven with good communication skills and customer service orientation
