Psychology Teacher

We are seeking to recruit a full-time Psychology Teacher to join our growing team at PASCAL Private School Lemesos (secondary).

Requirements

• Ability to inspire and challenge students to unlock their full potential
• Ability to use a positive approach to promote learning and excellent behavior
• Creating a lively, communicative atmosphere in class conducive to teaching and learning
• Encouraging diligence, organisation, responsibility, self-reliance, cooperation, teamwork, honesty, understanding, and tolerance in pupils
• Effectively planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the relevant schemes of learning
• Promoting literacy and numeracy across the curriculum
• Tactfully dealing with behavioral issues in accordance with the school’s behavior policy
• Communicating with parents and management regarding educational, social, or behavioral issues
• Carrying out the Form Teacher’s duties such as ensuring good conduct of students in their Form Class and assisting in promoting good order in the school, as well as providing pastoral care
• Adhering to all school and trust policies, procedures and practices, including health and safety, equal opportunities, safeguarding, behavior management and data protection
• Promoting the school in a positive light to the wider community
• Keeping up-to-date with current educational policies and practices
• Undertaking other duties assigned by school leaders which are in line with the position but are not stated herein 

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in Psychology, which is recognised by The Cyprus Council of Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KY.S.A.T.S.)
• Excellent command of the English language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
