As a Purchasing Operator

You will be responsible for the purchasing operations of the assigned vessels.

As a part of your role, you will:

· Receive vessels’ requisitions

· Organize and coordinate purchasing

· Gather quotations from suppliers

· Place orders to suppliers

· Arrange forwarding if needed

· Verify completion of deliveries in vessels

· Processes invoices and submits for payments

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have

· Experience in a similar purchasing position in a shipping company

· Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

· Familiarity with Danaos ERP will be considered as an asset
