Job Description - Quality Assurance Systems Officer

At Demo SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, we are currently looking for a high-performing Quality Assurance Officer.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Identifies needs for new written procedures or revision of current written procedures related to all stages of the production process, quality control, storage, distribution and operation of the areas. Supports the implementation of the procedures of the Quality System.
  • Implement and monitor the progress of the Corrective and Preventive Action Plan resulting from findings/observations of either Internal Audits and/or Audits from customers/ organizations/authorities
  • Conducting the deviation investigations, the change controls and the complaints with their respective investigations, resulting from the processes under his/her supervision, including the follow up of the CAPA plan.
  • Monitoring of the revised Regulations and Standards (e.g. GMP’S, ISO) and adapting of their requirements according to the organization’s Quality System.
  • Issuance of quality risk management reports related to the quality system upgrade and continuous improvement.
  • Communicating ideas and opinions with regards to Quality system upgrade and continuous improvement to members of Management and stakeholders. Participating in training and mentoring of all involved departments with regards to the new processes applied for the system upgrade and improvement.
  • Organizing and participating in meetings with external contractors and consulting agencies with regards to Quality system upgrade and continuous improvement and coordinating all involved departments with regards to applying the decisions made on the aforementioned meetings.
  • Evaluates variance data and trends in production and other activities in order to identify opportunities for improvement and risk management issues.

Requirements

  • BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or Pharmacy. MSc Degree in Quality Management or relevant field will be considered an asset.
  • Previous Experience at least 2 years in QA sector in Pharmaceutical Industry or in Production
  • Fluent oral and written skills in Greek & in English
  • Computer literacy
  • Self-motivated & results oriented with ability to cope with strict timelines
  • Ability to deliver on complex project requirements and tasks
  • Ability to work creatively, analytically with attention to detail
