Job Description - SAP Basis Administrator (m/w/d)

For our IT department we are looking for the next possible date for a

SAP Basis Administrator (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Ensuring the smooth functioning, administration and documentation of SAP Basis and the associated processes (including system upgrades)
  • Analysis, support and monitoring of the SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC 6.0 and Solution Manager) in coordination with our service providers
  • Coordination of the SAP Basis service providers
  • Support for SAP authorization management
  • Support of the SAP application Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) for compliance with the GDPR
  • Central contact person for company-wide document archiving
  • Collaboration on future-proof concepts for infrastructure, software distribution, monitoring and security solutions
  • Support in the creation of rollout plans, runbooks and schedules
  • Support for support in SAP Solution Manager
  • Implementation of security guidelines and measures to ensure data security and compliance

Your profile:

  • Completed studies or training in the field of computer science or similar qualification
  • Professional experience in the field of IT support and administration in medium and large SAP system environments
  • Ideally experience with SAP RISE
  • Good knowledge of SAP Basis administration
  • Experience in working with SAP Business Connector and SAPUI5/FIORI desirable
  • Experience with SAP BTP desirable
  • Communication skills
  • Motivation and pleasure in independently developing and implementing new ideas and concepts
  • Customer orientation and team spirit
  • Analytical and conceptual understanding
  • Very good MS Office skills
  • Very good knowledge of English
