Senior Finance Officer AAAFx

We are currently expanding our Finance and Accounting team and looking for an experienced Senior Finance Officer, for Finvasia's brand AAAFX , who will own the entire range of accounting and finance tasks related to the group companies in Greece and abroad. To succeed in this role, you should be reliable, thorough and analytical, eager to take initiatives and own responsibility. A great fit would be a task oriented and highly organized individual that demonstrates can do attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Reporting to the CFO & FI Director, your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Overview the book keeping process and finalize accounting for C’ category Books, tax, labor-related duties, applying GR GAAP and IFRS, on a monthly and annual basis
• Overview of tax and labor-related duties, e.g. tax declaration, VAT Forms, Transfer Pricing, TSF (FMY)
• Follow up the Company’s financial KPIs and prepare the Budgeted figures
• Communicate financial reporting to the Upper Management and clarify discrepancies from budget
• Understand and operate the reporting process towards the Regulators and proactively seeking to improve and simplify them where applicable
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and collaborate with the external accountants and auditors as necessary
• Hold responsibility for accounts payable and receivables, company payments and monitoring of bank accounts
• Communicate with tax and regulatory authorities, banks and handle any arising issues

Requirements

• Α’ Class signature right
• University or College Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an organized accounting department or large accounting office
• Highly experienced in Greek GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is also desired
• Familiar with accounting softwares, preferably SAP
• Advanced MS office skills; full professional use of excel is a must
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Previous experience in financial services sector will be considered a plus

• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills; ability to work under own initiative and hands on mentality
