Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

We are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer to join our team in Athens, Greece.
You will have the opportunity to contribute a code that meets best practices, clean code principles, and high standards as well as a code that works towards enabling all of our engineers towards evolving different skills.

The team you will join is "Coda" which consists of other FrontEnd Software Engineers and Designers from several domains. The specific team is responsible for end-to-end product solutions of all Orfium products.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate - with the team responsible for our B2Β platforms.
• Design - new versions, written entirely in React.
• Develop - new features to add with alongside our designers.
• Improve - user experience process, from wireframes & mockups to testing & release.
• Resolve - (In coordination with our designers & product managers) elegant solutions to interesting problems.
• Contribute - to the creation of a UI library and other JS tools used by the Front-End team across different products.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Javascript as a language.
• Hands-on experience for apps with a modern stack (ES6, Flexbox, CSS-in-JS etc.)
• Ability to write organised and clean code.
• Exposure to ReactJS, Redux and React-Query.
• Good understanding of Version Control (preferably with Git).
• Exposure to collaborating on software projects with a decoupled Front-end & Back-end handled by different teams.
• Willingness to continuously learn.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Relevant degree or certifications.

EXTRA POINTS if you have:

• A nice Github account, with interesting projects or contribution
• Experience with React in a production environment
• Good debugging skills (Chrome DevTools)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
